Whenever I think of Scorpio season I think of Persephone.
If you’re not familiar with her story, I’ll give you the quick version. Persephone was the queen of the underworld, Hades’ bae. Now how she got there is cause for speculation.
Did he kidnap her? Did she go willingly?
There are different versions of this story. What is consistent with all theories is that Persephone became to be the cause of seasons. She stays in the underworld, unable to leave after having eaten a single pomegranate seed.
Zeus brokers a deal between Hades and Demeter, Persephone’s mom, and homegirl gets to spend upwards of 6 months with her family, bringing on the warm seasons, and the rest of the year in the underworld, leaving the earth cold and barren.
I always associate the shadow world with Scorpio because of its depth and ability to navigate the darkness with seemingly ease.
It’s not a coincidence that many of those who I work with, that have prominent Scorpio placement in their charts, are people who do some deep emotional work with others.
They’re all healers, people who aren’t afraid of facing inner demons, and helping people slay TF out of their addictions.
They go into the underworld of our psyche and help us navigate those worlds.
Scorpio season is a time to “go there,” either for you or for others.
This is a chance to take a break from the day-to-day hustle and do some soul work.
Why is this critical work?
Because many of our brand + business challenges stem from unconscious issues.
Money issues? Fear of success? You get where I’m going with this.
Doing the inner work can help you unlock those blocks that get in the way of you moving forward.
Scorpio season is water energy and it can be pretty intense. Scorpio is co-parented by Pluto and Mars which are all about transformational action.
So rather than think about what you can physically do to transform your brand + business, go inward and take an inside-out approach.
